9. Number of refills authorized
28-1437 -- A prescription may be transmitted by fascimile (FAX) to the pharmacy ONLY by the prescribing veterinarian. The prescription CAN NOT be faxed to the pharmacy by the owner of the animal. The owner may obtain the original prescription from the vet and MAIL it in.

UK Pharmacy Prescription Requirements:
– we must have the original prescription: faxes, photocopies or scans are not acceptable.
- a Prescription is only valid for 6 months from the date of signing
- We can only dispense up to the total quantity stated on the prescription. If you attempt to order more, you will be refunded the difference less a £2.50 handling charge.
- a prescription is a legal document. As such, any attempt to alter or amend a prescription may be considered a criminal offense with possible serious consequences. If we have any concerns about the validity of a prescription, the details will be verified with the issuing veterinary surgeon.
